We seek a Program Manager to enhance our Managed Applications and Services systems' quality, performance, and reliability, partnering with customer teams to build, run, and maintain solutions.

Responsibilities: 

  • Understand and rationalize Statement of Work (SOW) technical requirements to ensure proper delivery of outputs during an engagement 

  • Fulfill the leadership role for your team of technical engineers - interact with the customer to understand and communicate engagement requirements to your team 

  • Roll up your sleeves as a servant leader to train, guide, and assist customers through the operationalization of their applications to DevOps and Cloud 

  • Provide your team with a clearly defined timeline and list of milestones needed to complete an engagement 

  • For time and material engagements, meticulously track hours and promptly submit hours to CloudFit contracting representatives to ensure proper payment for an engagement 

  • Work with the account management points of contact to understand interactions with the customer to ensure proper delivery expectations 

  • Being a technical program manager requires understanding the customer, being data-driven, driving engagements, understanding the technical breadth of asks, balancing customer/business/ & technical demands 

  • Collaborate with other PMs during engagements to ensure CloudFit best practices are being employed across all engagements 

  • Automate tasks and deliver content to the maximum extent possible 

  • On a day-to-day basis, Program Managers partner with Service Teams to build, monitor, and maintain the systems and infrastructure that ensure our customers can quickly access their applications, and data and run workloads whenever they need to 

  • They exist to amplify alignment, efficiency, and velocity across the CloudFit Engineering Teams 

  • Iterating on, implementing, & being a common interface between efficient, scalable, & logical engagement models (consistent processes, backlog management, prioritization procedures, etc.) 

  • Transparently showcasing near real-time insights & analytics on the services/products, the customer voice, and established key performance indicators (how engineering is performing, how PMs are contributing, how Services & Apps are performing) 

  • Own all communication channels for the engagement (internal and external) - crafting consistent, professional, and timely messaging to inform, persuade, evangelize, and record. 

  • Travel required to support customers in air-gapped environments, as needed 

Desired Qualifications:  

  • Cloud Service Engineering Experience (e.g. Office 365, Azure, AWS, GCP). 

  • Become an expert across Azure, Customers, SRE, Services, and the Cloud  

  • Technical Cloud, Security, and DevOps certifications 

  • Technical IT delivery (or consulting) experience (with external stakeholders is a plus) 

  • Real-world DevOps and DevSecOps experience, with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) 

  • Program Manager in a Cloud or Software company delivering optimal solutions facilitated by Azure Dev Ops, Jira, Microsoft Project and Agile methodologies like Scrum 

  • Proven proficiency in project management of scope, schedule, budget, stakeholders, and team work-tracking 

  • The position is location agnostic, but travel may be required to various locations around the United States for certain engagements due to security requirements  

  • Must be able to report on-site in Lynchburg, VA. 

Current Federal Security Clearance or ability to obtain (US Citizenship required)  

The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $175,000 + benefits, & perks. 

Please note the national salary range listed in the job posting reflects the new hire salary range across levels and U.S. locations that would apply to the position. Final salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s final level and location. Also, the range represents salary only and does not include our total rewards package.
