Key Responsibilities

Own Core Financial Operations:

  • Manage invoice processing for both A/R & A/P, maintaining subledgers and ensuring timely & accurate processing of transactions

  • Support month-end close, including accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis

  • Ensure financial data is accurate and aligned with U.S. GAAP

  • Help prepare for audits and maintain strong documentation practices

Partner Across the Business:

  • Work with PeopleOps on payroll, benefits, and headcount-related costs

  • Collaborate with Engineering and Sales teams to track and allocate costs tied to customer work and infrastructure usage

  • Help ensure accurate cost attribution tied to revenue and operations via enablement of core system features and reporting

Improve & Automate Processes:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline or automate manual finance workflows

  • Support the design and improvement of systems and integrations

  • Help document and scale processes as the company grows

Grow into FinOps & Systems Ownership:

  • Build expertise in financial systems, tools, and data

  • Support cost visibility and optimization efforts across teams

  • Take on increasing ownership of systems, workflows, and automation over time

Qualifications & Experience

Core Experience:

  • 5–7 years of experience in finance, accounting operations, or similar roles

  • Strong understanding of accrual-based accounting and month-end close

  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP

Systems & Tools:

  • Experience working with ERP systems and financial platforms

  • Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics (BC, AX, or D365 Financials) preferred

  • Familiarity with financial planning and HR systems such as Workday, Adaptive Planning, or ADP

  • Experience supporting or participating in ERP implementations (e.g., migrations from QuickBooks or similar systems)

  • Proficiency with reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)

  • Comfortable working with structured data, system integrations, and financial reporting workflows

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in a government contracting environment (compliance, cost reporting, etc.)

  • Background in SaaS, technology, or a high-growth company

  • Interest or experience in automation, systems, or process improvement

  • Exposure to audits, payroll complexity, or cost tracking

What Success Looks Like:

  • Early on: You ramp quickly on our systems and processes, contributing to a smooth and accurate close

  • Within your first year: You take ownership of key workflows, improve efficiency, and introduce automation where it matters

  • Longer term: You become a go-to resource for finance systems and processes, helping scale our operations and improve financial performance visibility across the business

Why This Role?

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both hands-on finance work and thinking about how to improve it. If you’re interested in growing beyond traditional accounting into systems, automation, and FinOps, this role is designed with that path in mind.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
