CloudFit Software is looking for a Senior Service Engineer – M365 to work directly on increasing quality, performance, and reliability. Our Service Engineers help maintain accountability of production workloads while making it easier to run modern applications and services in the cloud. Responsibilities 

  • Accountable to automate, administrate, and secure multiple M365 Tenants (Commercial, GCC, GCCH, etc.) in an everchanging and maturing environment. 

  • Secure and manage access to sensitive information using available M365 tools (Mail flow rules, Information protection Labels, Data loss Prevention, etc.) 

  • Create, manage, and secure sustainable environments, tenants, and services through automation and process improvements. 

  • Design and mature systems that prioritize the customer perspective and experience  

  • Drive architectural consolidation and simplification that improves ongoing operations & direction 

  • Quickly adapt and apply new technologies, tools, methods, and processes from both internal and external sources  

  • Work across CloudFit to drive tools that help deliver insights and automation to simplify the complex world of scaled services  

  • Communicate effectively and partner well with other disciplines of the project team to deliver high quality solutions from ideas to production code  

  • Exemplify CloudFit values of empowerment by leveraging the work of others and uplifting their success  

  • Support customer sustainability through on-call rotation as needed  

  • Travel up to 25% to support customers in air-gapped environments  

What makes you the perfect fit for this role:  

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Engineering or experience in software development  

  • Experience with Entra ID, Exchange, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Microsoft 365 Defender, Microsoft Purview, and SharePoint 

  • Working experience scripting in PowerShell or similar languages 

  • Interest in distributed systems and working with high scale services 

  • Enjoys technological challenges and problem solving  

  • Desire to grow as a person, as a teammate, and as an engineer 

Some nice haves (but not required): 

  • Technical certifications in Sec+, Azure, Cloud, Security, and DevOps 

  • Exposure to Azure CLI, Terraform, Kubernetes, and other Cloud Platforms & Technologies are a plus 

Current Federal Security Clearance or ability to obtain (US Citizenship required) 

The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $175,000 + benefits, & perks.
